About Rev. Marian
As a Chicago wedding minister, I provide professional services as minister, officiant, clergy, celebrant or reverend for weddings, including wedding vows, interfaith wedding ceremonies, nondenominational wedding ceremonies or renewal of vows, civil ceremonies or elopements. I was ordained in 1997, after completing a two-year interfaith course of study at The New Seminary in New York. And our ordination ceremony took place in the Cathedral of St. John the Divine — we were blessed by priests, rabbis, imams, ministers and many other religious leaders.
Since then I have been assisting couples with their personalized wedding ceremonies, and completely enjoy this work. I am still deeply moved by participating in weddings, and it's not just my relationship with you that causes this. It's my relationship to the depth and power of the wedding ceremony itself.
You see, my own ceremony changed me deeply. I felt different — more committed, more centered and much more ready to work at our relationship after we were witnessed saying our vows to one another.
And it's this "magic" that I carry into every ceremony — to open the door for you on this new stage in your relationship.
